Meg is a professional folklorist, storyteller and voice actor of mixed Lenape and Welsh heritage with a background in theater, puppetry and clowning. Her folklore work embraces contemporary ghost lore and urban legends as well as the material culture of American Indian artists and communities.
She also lends her vocal talents to several audio projects, including Twisted Tales, virtual learning modules, several "Mom" characters in student films, and Theatre Goes On's virtual piece, Seen, currently in production.
As part of the Way Better Than Fingers cast, Meg provides voices for an assortment of female criminals and shady personalities, bringing her one step closer to her dream of being an animated character.
In her increasingly rare free time she serves as an ordained minister. She also enjoys pursuits such as gardening, knitting, and the spinning of yarns, both verbal and physical.
All of Ashley's characters were recorded in her home studio. For those looking for voice actors, here's a brief summary of the equipment she works with.
